Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I just found a set for 600$ and probably going to powder coat them black to fit my red car, or maybe another color would be nicer, like white??

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi guys, Are 997s 19 inches wheels gonna fit on my 2004 996 (unmodified suspension). I just found a set for 600$ and probably going to powder coat them black to fit my red car, or maybe another color would be nicer, like white?? Here is the add link: http://www.kijiji.ca/v-pneus-jantes/...ationFlag=true

POST 2Original post

You need to know the offsets to determine it they will fit. 19" look better but tend to ride rougher.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My current rear offset is 65, the 997s 19 is 67 Front is 50/52 and 997s 19 is 57

POST 4Original post

Offsets shouldn't be an issue. The et57 will be inset 7mm more than the et50 so you may want spacers to push them back out a little. I assume the width at pretty much the same too? When looking for tires, use an online tire size comparison site to make sure you keep the diameter pretty close to the same.

POST 5Original post

That's what I have on mine (lobster forks) and they fit great. I did eventually add a 15mm spacer up front because they were a bit too narrow. I also recently added KW V3s and they still fit nicely.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Both front are 8 inches, 997s are 11 vs 10 for my current rear wheels, so i think i need spacer for the front like dcamco just said

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I see why you have spacers, looks like a no brainer to me

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Last picture of mine.... Still at the body shop

POST 11Original post

It didn't ever look great without the spacers, but that is a particularly bad angle. When I lowered the car it looked MUCH worse so I added the spacers a few days later. OUCH!! What happened there?

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I got hit in the back by a Toyota (yaris i think), only cosmetics damage at first glance, i will know more monday. Sad thing is my car was 100% original paint...the fender is bend a little right over the wheel.

POST 13Original post

That sucks man. Good luck getting it repaired!
