Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ive had the console out for reconditioning/ paint. I ran out of paint. I finished the console but not the smaller parts so I put it back in. I reconnected the window buttons so I can drive while waiting for the paint. Last evening I did not lock the door & left the driver window cracked open. this morning I was going to close the window & put the cover on (we are expecting a hurricane). when I put the key in the ignition the key would not turn. I removed it several times & flipping it over. I then pressed the clutch & brake, moved the shifter around. Still couldnt turn the key.thinking the battery was low I popped the frunk. I tried again & it turned & I cranked her up. any ideas why it did this? Thanks!

POST 2Original post

Probably the steering wheel lock got bound up. If it happens again, move the steering wheel slightly and try to turn the key. When you remove the key you can hear the clunk of the steering wheel lock.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

That certainly sounds reasonable but I did not feel it that way in the steering wheel. I will check that if it does it again. Thanks
