Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Leading evidence: 'Use outside line' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use outside line' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

It looks like he had a good line. Not sure why that other guy was driving the wrong way on a race track?!
I wouldnt be be surprised if that car was being driven by an employee of the dealership. Hopefully it wasn't a customer car in for an oil change.
+1 Seems a weird thing to be innocuously filming a quiet street with your cell phone and BAM! Me thinks it went more like this... "Hey man, go upstairs and film me doing the curves out front in the new Porsche Cayman we just got in. I am gonna fly through there this time, even faster than I did with the GTS last month."
D.

Scary as it was, the other car kept the Porsche from coming all the way around and winding up in the trees (or mowing down the white flag poles, or...).
Some folks here could catch that car if the rear end popped out (you know, if it hadn't been for that pesky oncoming traffic) - but a lot more would lose it. I'm probably in the latter group.
I'm thinking NOT a security camera as it jiggles around and follows the would be Mario Andretti after he trashes the car. From watching it again looks like he got it loose by trying to jerk it inside of the unexpected on-coming car. To correct that slide he probably would have hit the offending other car with his left front. Either way he had just screwed himself! In a demented way it makes me smile that he didn't kill himself or anybody else. Maybe he has learned something...maybe...just maybe...probably not...
Ouch!
The OPC loan car I get when I service my car is a Cayman but the excess is $5k which I think deters most from rallying it around but then again maybe not!
I'm pretty confident its a turbo. Has the big inlets behind the doors + when it comes to a stop the rear side windows look unmistakably 911. I also think this is filmed on a phone from a security camera playback - hence the shaky camerawork.
Didn't take long so show up on social media. Dealer tech crashed 911 turbo. Social media profile has multiple other pictures of the same vehicle so inclined to believe the story.
Wow. I'm going to take a moment and pat myself on the back for calling that one. Got the model right + the driver. Not bad deduction from shaky security footage.
When I was 18 and working in the Honda dealership...my nick name was "fast and furious", my partner's name was "Will drift".
In span of 3 months, "Will drift" wrecked three cars following my teachings and encouragement.
Every 'fun' car that came in, was pushed to its limits when out of the earshot of the dealership. EVERY SINGLE ONE. Because our storage lot was not on site, we had the reasons to be constantly driving the trade-ins, auction cars, and new arrivals on the streets. Anything that was RWD, got bonus points. When it rained, the roof of the dealership was my drift pad after hours....until I got caught on security cam.
I've personally SAVAGED the lease return S2000. That car didn't like it, and tried to punish me twice in 15 minutes. First, I was attempting to drift across the Van Ness Street at about 50 MPH through traffic; I overdone it and pulled a spectacular smoky 180 degree turn with 'Will drift' clenched in the passenger seat (through traffic, no hits). 10 minutes later, 'Will drift' picked up the SI from the lot and we line up to race in the alley; I get the jump from the line and rev the S2k to 8200 RPM, when I shift to 2nd...the rear end gets badly loose on the something; I correct/correct/correct/correct mentally seeing how I am hitting wall, parked car, wall, parked car...with me finally catching the car on the sidewalk (no damage).
And if you try hard enough, Honda Odyssey will do spectacular 1/2nd gear peel outs on the moist streets.
A few years ago, we brought my nephew's Ford Ranger 4.0 to the dealership to get the transmission checked. When we went to pick it up a couple of days later, it had a obvious rod knock that it didn't have before. The service manager just shrugged his shoulders and said "it must have been that way when we got it". I have often wondered what the real story is.
lol what a mess. Poor car. By a look of the recording I wonder if a fellow tech was like "I'll record you coming in hot around that corner there". Couple shots of Stoli later, challenge accepted.
This is why i have learned to be more careful as to who works on my cars. Mysterious scratches, greasy handprints all over the place and my personal favorite- the zero-ed out trip odometer (dumbazzes don't realize I note the actual mileage when I drop off and when I pick it up). Needless to say I don't let valets near the cars either. Even though they are "just 996s"
