Has anyone successfully reattached the inside panel to their sunroof. I've found threads about it but haven't found one where someone was able to successfully fix it. Almost debating taking it to a shop but hate to give up before I even try.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Been dealing with this for months.... Mine lives on a shelf in the garage now.
I thought there was several plastic thingies like on the door card that hold that on? Seems mine bounced loose once and I just pushed on it. Never had it totally fall off so I don't know what's on the other side.
Fixed it. You were right, it does just pop back in. Which allowed me to find the real problem. Either Porsche or a PO put something like the soft side of Velcro on the bottom corners of the cassette for the panel to slide across. This had come off on one side and the remaining adhesive was grabbing the panel and pulling it loose from the sunroof. By putting the roof up in vent mode, I was able to get the adhesive off and then replace it with an industrial piece of Velcro to slide along. Not sure how long it will last but it's working great at the moment.
