I have the tool from the 997GT3 shifter that I put in my 996C2, but now I have a 997GT3 Short Shifter in my GT3 that I want to check the cable alignment on.

I have had white, green, and orange alignment tools and have put them side by side and on top of each other and can see no difference other than color and part number..

I have the tool from the 997GT3 shifter that I put in my 996C2, but now I have a 997GT3 Short Shifter in my GT3 that I want to check the cable alignment on. I can't find any reference to the tool for the short shifter. Thanks in advance.

Yes, the green alignment tool fits all 9X7 cars, will also fit 9x6 cars ( the white 9x6 tool is discontinued). I have had white, green, and orange alignment tools and have put them side by side and on top of each other and can see no difference other than color and part number..
