Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My 03 996, when the turn signal is on you can barely hear the tick tock noise. Does that mean I need to replace the relay or is this normal for this car?

POST 2Original post

Mine is very quiet too. I can only hear it if I sit at idle.

POST 3Original post

Mine is pretty quiet too but I like it that way. It might be normal but others can chime in with their expertise.

POST 4Original post

04' C2 - mine is quiet I can't hear it over my exhaust

POST 5Original post

My 04 C2 is quiet. In fact I recall tapping away improvising a beat along with the tic toc of the indicator in my previous cars, but I don't do it in this one, that's how I know it's quiet.

POST 6Original post

I am a bit (mutton Jeff) and I wish there was a way to make it louder. Many times I am driving along with it still quietly ticking away which could be very dangerous for me if a motorist pulls out in front of me thinking I am turning into where he is coming out of. Maybe someone can come up with an answer, other than a hearing aid in my lugs lol. Coming onto a main road from a slip road is the time it does not cancel, but most times I remember to manually cancel it out after joining the road.
