Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Sam at Evom's was really helpful, but I ran into a few snags.
Leading evidence: 'Run into a few snags' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Run into a few snags' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

It had a best run of 319whp and 269wtq on something like 93-94oct fuel.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I recently ordered an EVOM's tune for my car to tie everything together. Sam at Evom's was really helpful, but I ran into a few snags. Evom's stepped up and ended up overnighting me hardware across the country and getting me going on a Saturday morning. Literally the best customer service I have ever had with a vendor over the last 20 years.
What kind of 996? Is it the $699 tune? Report your feedback once you drive it because I have been thinking about coupling this with their intake in my car! From what I've read the tune retunes a lot about the car including throttle response and other things.
It's a 2000 model. So 3.4L, it has X-pipe w/decat, headers, mufflers , IPD comp. plenum w/GT3 tb with a modified airbox and an UD pulley. I'll give my impressions after a few days of driving.
No dyno #s to report. But I can say a few things about the tune. The car feels more responsive and crisper at all throttle positions. The throttle response itself is much improved. There just aren't big gains to be made with bolt-ons on these cars, but I feel like the complete combination with the tune has given the car a different character. It revs much freer(sp) and the midrange and top end power feels improved. I did lose some low end torque when I dropped the cats, but I anticipated it and I don't mind it, in return for the upper end pull. The tune really seemed to make everything else work well together. I may stick my portable wideband in the exhaust and see what kind of A/F ratios its running at cruise and WOT.
Glad I could help and that everything worked out this weekend.
I don't have a stock baseline of a 3.4L 996 handy, but we did dyno a car very similar to 02Z06's last winter, see attached. It had a best run of 319whp and 269wtq on something like 93-94oct fuel. A stock 3.4L car is rated at 296hp at the flywheel which is also what a 987 S is rated at, and the 987s reliably put down around 265-275whp on our dyno depending on weather and fuel, so doing all the bolt-ons and a matching tune are worth 45-50whp. Of that, the tune is usually worth about 10-12whp and 10-15wtq depending on fuel, and there are some other un-quantifiable improvements such as the throttle response that 02Z06 eluded to.
I usually tell people that the tune is the glue that is going to bind all the other bolt-on mods together and make them work well as a whole, as just looking at power gains doesn't really tell the whole story about how it affects and improves the car.
