Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Leading evidence: 'Replace fairly easy' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'of cracked/split fuel lines, internal lines' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Inspect lines' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

I had it on my small block-swapped Jeep quite a few years ago.

I also replaced the starter and cracked the oil filler neck, but that has since been replaced.

Suspected cause
Well, since you've just been in fuel tank I'd be suspect of cracked/split fuel lines, internal lines from tank pump to tank hat.

I am hoping this solves and I will also inspect the lines from the pump.

Anyway I bought this Electronic Fuel Pressure Tester that has a very long cable so I can set the Display on the dash and drive while monitoring the fuel pressure...It was Invaluable !!!
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

So, I have been getting fuel starvation-like episodes once the car is up in elevation (I live in the Rockies) and the car is hot, or at least the ambient temps are hot. I am not sure they are related. Recently I did all the bits: clutch, flywheel, rear main, IMS, spark plugs, etc. I did recently have the fuel level sensor fail, pump still pushing PSI though. I also replaced the starter and cracked the oil filler neck, but that has since been replaced. I have done extensive research online attempting to find similar issues. I replaced the fuel cap yesterday and had the same thing occur once driving for an hour +. The car will idle fine and as long as the car stays in gear and throttle stays set, the car will keep running. The "fuel cut" feeling lasts about 6 seconds. Again, car runs fine for a while until I head above 6-7000' elevation or hot...
Thanks for ideas. My next part/s will be fuel pump. No misfires, no codes.
Well, since you've just been in fuel tank I'd be suspect of cracked/split fuel lines, internal lines from tank pump to tank hat. If you have dual fuel pickups as in AWD models, their internal tank lines are prone to problems.
Also the CPS can cause similar problems.

Right, assuming this is the issue, I need to inspect the whole pump, can these lines be changed? This issue was not present even after the pump change 3-4 months ago. This is a recent issue since putting motor back in and prior to the level sending unit failure.
Yes, all those lines can be replaced fairly easy. Just make sure to get in tank submerged high quality fuel lines. They commonly split and leak internally.
For clarification, are we referring to the plastic or rubber hoses found within the tank/on the pump? If the plastic, can those be replaced by rubber submerged line?
Thanks, this is a newer topic for me to conquer.
I reciently went through an issue on my 1989 F250 with Dual Tanks....It has 3 fuel pumps and an elaborate " Tank Switching System" that has a Hydrodynamic Valve that switches the tank pressure and return lines when the Pumps switch ON...
Anyway I bought this Electronic Fuel Pressure Tester that has a very long cable so I can set the Display on the dash and drive while monitoring the fuel pressure...It was Invaluable !!!
I recommend this to help you in troubleshooting your issue ...

Fair enough. I appreciate this. I have always felt constsnt/live fuel pressure monitoring is vital. I had it on my small block-swapped Jeep quite a few years ago. I would love to have it on my 911. Thanks again.
Just an update on this. I ordered the sending unit and plan to replace that this weekend hopefully. I ended up breaking the damn nipple on top of it anyway, so it had to be done. I am hoping this solves and I will also inspect the lines from the pump. I am replacing the 90 quick fitting on the pressure line as well. More to come on this.
