Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
16 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.
1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

I was confident in my glue lams vs the cars weight...It worked and I'm driving again!
Just as the title says, does this look like a good alternate front jack point? With the front under skin removed I noticed that this suspension/frame connection point looks like it would make a good alternate front jack point. Thoughts?

Your spot looks like its part of the subframe. Should be ok (strength wise) to jack on, but why? It's a little uneven, so might be difficult to get a safe/steady hold there...
The car is now 29 inches off the ground (31 inches at the back bumper mount)
BTW, these are 12 Ton jack stands (for 4x4's and such), so they are nice and solid.

Hmmm, why so high? Are you planning on dropping the engine? If so, you need about 25.5" clearance. It looks like you've got your jack-stands maxed out. I'd block up the bottoms and drop them down a notch or two for safety sake. You might want to look into "lift bars" - they make what you're doing (lifting the entire car) quicker and more stable for a very reasonable price (around $200). In any case good luck with the project!
Yes, good luck with this project!
I agree. I've never been a fan of those ratchet style stands and I definitely would never get under that setup.
Back when I used crappy jack stands, I used
lots
of them (along with a floor jack as backup).
