Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a 2004 Anniversary Edition car and had Koni FSDs installed on all four corners. Alignment shop said the fronts are too tall and the best he can set the camber at is 0 degrees. I believe spec is -1 degree camber correct.? End result is the front end wanders and the steering just feels loose especially at high speeds. I have read countless reviews that the FSD is direct replacement. Is it possibly related to the AE M03/ ROW option or do I need to find another alignment shop?

POST 2Original post

Call Koni tech line And yes, find a local race shop referral to a sport car high end alignment shop for a second opinion.

POST 3Original post

Reviews say Koni Special Active red dampers (formerly called FSDs and gold) are both smoother riding and tighter handling, and I plan on installing them in the future. Tirerack.com has them for $229/$186 so these apparently perform better than stock B4 Bilsteins which cost much more. Also Tirerack says there may be fitment issues with lowered suspensions. http://www.koni.com/en-US/Cars/Produ...pecial-Active/ https://www.fordnxt.com/news/samplin...18-mustang-gt/ https://www.tirerack.com/suspension/...l+Active+Shock

POST 4Original post

I have the FSD's on my car I was able to set 1.2 neg camber up front, But I also did 1" lower coils from Eibach and did a complete suspension refresh every mount, bump stop, control arm and tie rods. Ride is very firm on slow movements like turns and dips, but the faster shaft speeds like potholes pretty smooth. The biggest thing I noticed was the glued reflectors in the road I hear but never feel at all. I would recommend them for a DD that will get driven hard on the weekends. I will see how they do next month at the autocross. CP
