Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
Checking condensers is a good excuse to clean out accumulated debris as well even if there is no leak.
Leading evidence: 'Check condensers is a good excuse' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check condensers is a good excuse' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Suggestion
Evap core leaks are I believe uncommon, but uv dye will appear in the condensate puddle on the ground under the passenger footwell after running the ac if it is the evap.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

As the title suggests, my AC system is completely dead. I have tried recharging/refilling it multiple times and all it does is make the air slightly cooler for about 2-3 minutes and then it just blows hot air. Unfortunately, I recently moved to an area where its regularly 100+ degrees during the day, making the car essentially un-drivable. I wanted to know if anyone else has dealt with a sudden AC failure like this and if so, what repairs they needed to do.
Thanks in advance
Is the compressor engaging? When you say you have tried recharging/refilling....how? Did a professional AC shop do it or did you plug a can of freon on it?
There is a relay for the AC compressor in Relay Support 2, behind the seat and under the carpet.
Was system working fine one day, then the next day it could not blow cold for more than a few minutes? Or has it gradually been decreasing? I ask because my evaporator core went out which resulted in going from 100% ac performance down to 10% ac performance almost overnight. Consider having UV dye put into system, get a kit with a handheld uv light and yellow tinted glasses, and look for areas of dye leaks. Evap core leaks are I believe uncommon, but uv dye will appear in the condensate puddle on the ground under the passenger footwell after running the ac if it is the evap. Other leak locations can be at condensers behind front bumper, dryer next to battery, hose/seal connections etc. Checking condensers is a good excuse to clean out accumulated debris as well even if there is no leak.
I'm sure this is NOT your issue. But... I had a friend with a 996 who was convinced his AC was not working. Turns out he forgot to push the snowflake button to turn it on. He was only using the fan, thinking it was not blowing cool air.
I have to admit, I've done the same thing in my caddy one time.
Good luck with your AC hunt-n-fix.
