Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'Replace headlights' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace headlights' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

The *** end looks to large, not wide body large, but large in comparison to the front. This may be bc of the angle from the rear to front shot. Would love to see more. I def like the idea as it’s a cheaper route than putting a watercooled motor in a air cooled car.
That's a serious amount of bodywork. It doesn't look
anything
like a 996. Just like the
entire carbon fiber 993 body
, in theory I don't think I would like it at all but in practice, it's amazing.
I'd like to see the $ involved because that isn't just some minor changes. Looks like a full body rework on top of the 996 chassis.
I'd love to see more pictures....particularly from the side so I can see whether the nose and tail overhangs are not out of wack. Could this be the next singer once they consume all of the 964s....likely not but makes you wonder.
Love this. Looks reminiscent of all the 964 backdated cars you see these days, albeit not quite as graceful. There are a few more shot ms on the IG acct, but looks forward to an official photo shoot.
Take my money!!! Seriously have considered the feasibility of a build like this, either backdate a water cooled car or re engine a oil cooled roller. Hmmmmmm
Looks like it could be two different cars or maybe the same car at two different points of development.
There are no side lettering decals on the second picture.
The wheel on the first picture seems to have a different number of steps up from the wheel center to the outer rim.
To each his own but wow, that front end looks horrid to me!
I like the backdated 996 in the OP's post but it looks like the proportions may be off a bit.
kinda busy.
Like the idea but execution is a little off.
Maybe the lip/spoiler is to aggressive taking away from the cool retro look above.
Doesnt quite blend all of it together.
I'm really surprised to say this but I actually like it. I'll reserve final judgement until I see some more zoomed out shots but it looks like they have done some high quality work here.
There's been a lot of interest for this post I started, here's another pic showing this guys Instagram info if anyone wants to look, I'm in no way involved btw!!! ?

Overall, I like the work. As far as "backdating" a 996 goes though, I think the shape of this generation would be best suited to a 993 (or even 968) look, not the traditional frog eye look.
