Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Whilst Im waiting for the weather to warm. I spend most of the winter working on my car, reading the forum and thinking about driving my car in the summer!. Which got me thinking of the below poll, how would you describe your relationship/main interest in your 996. 1. Garage queen, used rarely, detailed to concourse levels, Porsche serviced. 2. Youre the detailer, you spend hours ensuring your car is immaculate. You drive it. You have an Indy or Porsche work on it/service it. 3. You drive it, obsess on working on it and ensuring it drives perfectly. Wash it but dont detail it to a high level 4. You drive the wheels off it, put it through a car wash when its filthy and get it fixed when it breaks. Now to be clear I dont think any of the above are right or wrong so no judgements. And I am sure the above dont perfectly describe everyone. Personally I fall into the work on my car to ensure it drives perfectly category, I love working on my car. I also drive it most of the summer. I dont car wash it but wash it by hand and probably wax it by hand once a year. I like a clean car inside and out. I find detailing a little laborious and happy to pay someone $300 to detail my car for a few hours but despise paying $300 to work on it (Weird I know). Where do you stand on your relationship with your cars?
