Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I would search for a good used set from a low mile wreck.

I have looked at used seats but they have wear, I can have them redone and they would be new.

Yeah I'm a penny pinch'n Porsche owner so might look at used seats instead of this option.

The shop I am planning on using will use it in the restoration.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Thought I would ask the forum if anyone has had experience or dealings with this company:
Classic 9 Leather Shop.
They are out of Dearborn Michigan and advertise through the PCA magazine.
Reason I ask is that my uphostery is shot in my 996 and these guys looked promising.
Thanks in advance for any response, Jumpy
Appreciate the replies.

Looks like the kits are salty as well. Has anyone installed thier own seat covers
from this company?
That may a frustrating exercise though, as I've never done that type of work.
Thanks as always for any input.
They are popular over on the 964 forum and do some incredible work. My cab leather interior is also shot, and I want to get them to quote a re-do this summer. Let us know if you do use them!
My interior needs to be redone. I found a local, place that can do the front seats. The cost is about 2700. The headrests on mine have the Porsche logo embossed from the factory and I want to save that. The shop I am planning on using will use it in the restoration. I am going with leather around the sides and back perforated on the seat and back rest. I did not see embossed logos on those seats and looks like suede on back and seat portion. Good luck to you.
Please do. I have looked at used seats but they have wear, I can have them redone and they would be new. Plus I would upgrade to a better quality leather.
If you can find new seat covers and would rate yourself about a 3 or above on the 1 - 10 scale of handiness, you can easily do this. It's one of the most rewarding projects when you consider the instant gratification of like-new leather seats. And by seat covers I mean actually removing the old leather and installing over the foam.
I added seat heaters into my BMW seats while I had them apart (link below). The disassembly of our 911 seats should be very similar.
