Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

For my car I later swapped out to JRZ to only be used on track, when I have more experience with them, I'll throw another post up here.

Suggestion
It might be a little overkill for the street but on my c4s with e88s they look money and Ill never have to upgrade if I change my driving habits

Suggestion
Feal 441 on my dad's 2000 996 are fantastic (I also installed these ones, I guess I just set the preload properly that time).
Use also radial bearings and adjustable bump stops

Suggestion
As a new performance car owner(5+ yrs ago), my goal was to buy a product that would allow me to adjust the height and ride of the vehicle as I learned more about how I was actually going to use the car.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

If you can answer just these couple questions as well:
Which model if multiple available ?
Are you happy with the performance for the price you paid ?
Would you buy them again ?
Which model if multiple available ?
Ohlins R&T POZMI00
Are you happy with the performance for the price you paid ?
Yes. I was hesitant at the time this would be the case because they are expensive but do feel in comparison to what's available in the market, the pricing was reasonable.
Would you buy them again ?
For a street car, definitely yes, and I wouldn't consider anything else for a street or street / limited track dual role given the experience I had. For my car I later swapped out to JRZ to only be used on track, when I have more experience with them, I'll throw another post up here.
Feal 441+ Despite my interest in ride the mild increased rate of the Swift springs gives a fine ride. Radial bearing upgrade
Price - these are allegedly value over premium - feel premium. Road only use.
Would buy again. Seller claims he put work into the 996 platform, and my results support his claims.
Feal's on 2 C-2 , yes will buy again, street use, also radial bearings and adjustable bump stops. would not buy adjustment extension for rear being cabriolet and are way to short to use, fronts work great
Which model if multiple available ?
Ohlins R&T POZ MI00, standard Ohlin's springs
Are you happy with the performance for the price you paid ?
Yes. As a new performance car owner(5+ yrs ago), my goal was to buy a product that would allow me to adjust the height and ride of the vehicle as I learned more about how I was actually going to use the car. Track Rat, Canyon Carver, Commuter, or Sunday Stroller. I'm somewhere in the middle as I drive it to work a few days a week but also rip on back roads on the weekend. I've been on a track once and decided I need a coupe with a roll bar. These are much much better than the original struts.
Would you buy them again ?
Yes.
Which model if multiple available ?
H&R RSS Clubsport
Are you happy with the performance for the price you paid ?
Very happy with them! got them new from tire rack for 1700. They are a very stiff platform without being too harsh at least for me)
Would you buy them again ?
Yes, But I want to try Ohlins if I was to buy another set of coilovers
My car came equipped with Bilstein PSS9's. They are fabulous on the road, far better than stock. They ride better and handle better. They are also competent on the track as I used them for a couple years before upgrading to Moton.
Which model if multiple available ?
KW V3 (for C4/C4s/Turbo)
Are you happy with the performance for the price you paid ?
Yes! They are nothing short of amazing compared to what I had before (Bilstein B8/ H&R sport springs).
Would you buy them again ? Yes, but only if I got them for the price I paid I got them for around $2k used with less than 10k miles on them. They literally looked like they were brand new. No rust oxidation or dirt anywhere. All tools/spanner wrenches adjusters perfect as well.
When I bought these, I wasnt unhappy per se with the Bilsteins, but they certainly werent perfect. There was no way I was going to drop $3.5-$4k for coilovers, but at $2k they seemed like a good deal.
** Tarret mono all top mounts (front) stock Porsche (rear)
Stock drop links front, adjustable rears.
other adjustable sus. parts, - dog bones, toe arms (rear)

Yes
I was thinking about this too when I saw the poll. Who is dissatisfied with their purchase, thats the more telling thing. This post is very timely as I just posted about a great coilover deal that popped up locally I was thinking of grabbing in preparation for when I take on a full refresh this year.
Without driving a few cars with different coilovers installed, setup similarly, how can one discern whether they are satisfied with
their
choice OVER another coilover without some sort of reference point (besides stock)? Discussions on ride quality are even more subjective. Harsh to you might be different than harsh to me. When I went from a Ram 1500 w/ a beautiful bilstein adjustable leveling suspension, to a stock 2500 with 80 PSI cold in rear tires, you wanna talk about harsh. I basically cursed the dealer for selling me a truck with a blown suspension, even though it was fine. I could imagine they were laughing on the other end of the phone when they got that call. Side note, I ended up keeping all 4 tires at 55 PSI and that made a big difference, but still harsh compared to my comfy 1500.
Feal 441+ on my car for the last 5k miles or so. TBD on liking them. I'm not in love with the separation between spring perch height and shock body length simply because I didn't take proper care installing them and now my ride is INCREDIBLY jarring due to lack of travel. Now that I finally have a Quickjack I plan on addressing that in the next week or two. Feal 441 on my dad's 2000 996 are fantastic (I also installed these ones, I guess I just set the preload properly that time).
