Stock suspension but it's one of those mod/change issues

I'm not dead set on going back to 18s but it would be nice to get back to factory specs as the ride quality just isn't the same with the 19s I currently have.

I've done lots of wheel/tire set ups on BMWs but still cutting my teeth on this car, would love any wisdom you care to impart.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Need some ideas to replace/refurbish the rims on my 2005 C4S and need some inspiration. I've been constantly stalking Craigslist, EBay, and the Parts Forum for potential candidates but am befuddled by the myriad of widths, offsets, etc that are available. I currently have 19s but want to go back down to 18s. Can't do twists, but want to know what else everyone is running. Please include all the gory details....
Subscribed as I'm in the same boat -- bought the car w/ Carrera Classics, but didn't realize until i got it home that those are NB wheels so it's currently on spacers... no bueno.
I'm leaning towards BBS CH-R in black (silver wheels on a silver car are quite boring) in 19's but am considering oem 18" options as well.
Why are you going back to 18's, is it simply a ride quality thing?

It's easy to understand the 19" look.
Here is BBS CHR 19's on the car when it was purchased.
Great look then I went back to some Turbo II hollow 18's.
The car "felt" better when back to the 18's.
Stock suspension but it's one of those mod/change issues
where you find the truth in earlier opinions.
I found myself coming a full circle from factory choices
to my own preferences then back to factory. IMHO.
With that said I'd take an 18" Sport Techno and highlight
the slanted spoke face with a different shade, add
7mm front and 14mm rears spacers and some lowering springs.
944racing.de is a good site for Porsche factory wheel info.
Click on Felgengewichte and English for the list.
Have fun!
Im running the new ESM wheels for the summer. Its 18x11 rears with a 15mm spacer for offset. Its a flow form wheel, and the guys at ESM cut me a deal in exchange for photos so it was hard to pass up.
