I actually recently replaced the starter and Y cable and while I was in there was going to replace the resonator tube.

Hi all. Just curious what the Air Intake Resonance Tube does. there is a vacuum actuated flap that when activated closes the flap and when not actuated is open. Pic attached of the part I'm talking about. Thanks in advance!

I have another on hand, but it was such a pain getting on and off I�ve been procrastinating. If anyone has any tips to making it easier to remove and replace I�m all ears!! Thanks again!

I read that the left intake manifold must be removed. As it must, as it also stated that the forward plenum is not meant to be removed without doing so. I�m in the process buttoning up everything after replacing the AOS. On my 2004 Carrera w/ Tip that is a total blue bitvh of a DIY.

I actually recently replaced the starter and Y cable and while I was in there was going to replace the resonator tube. When I went to remove it I checked it and found that my super glue repair of the broken actuator arm had actually held up and it was functioning as intended! It was a nice surprise and so glad I didnt jabe to remove it.
