Using the helpful Pelican Parts video I just changed the fuel line vent valve with no trouble - EXCEPT I stupidly didn't note where the little magnetic "reed" valve that opens the line for filling should be reinstalled.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Help! 04 996TT Using the helpful Pelican Parts video I just changed the fuel line vent valve with no trouble - EXCEPT I stupidly didn't note where the little magnetic "reed" valve that opens the line for filling should be reinstalled. I scoured the forums and net for info or a photo and the only thing I could find in a thread was Nick from Pelican Parts saying it attaches to "a small black plastic piece" on the fuel fill line. I can't find any thing like that! Even though everyone agrees the switch must be operative, there are no pictures showing where the switch needs to go. Could somebody help me out here? I have attached a photo - if someone could mark where it goes it would be fantastic!!
