Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

has anyone changed out this actuator? I have the fender liner off and see the gas tank sensor but a lot stuff in way to the actuator.any help or tips would be appreciated.

POST 2Original post

Doesn't work as in the pin isn't there? The solenoid does not activate? There is a little noise but no movement? Is the emergency cable pulled? Fuses B8, C3, E1 good?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Stupid me. Did not think of fuse to control this actuator. Will check at once. Thanks for info.michael troitino

POST 4Original post

Just replaced passenger fender. If you do replace actuator, remove the charcoal canister and you can get to the fuel door locking actuator. Three squeeze and snap plastic line and one 10mm nut. The canister is held on by two rubber grommets.

POST 5Original post

I think a good tome to mention.... there is an emergency dorr release. Many don't know it's there. Open the passenger door. On the inside of the pillar, adjacent to the door, is a small metal wire loop. Tug it and the door will open.
