Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.
Discussions that suspect a cause
1
0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suspected cause
Fuel is probably a good idea but not sure if it's a deal killer.
Leading evidence: 'good idea' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'good idea' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Check tires' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Hence, I recommend draining the old fuel and flushing the brake/clutch systems for removal of doubt about any condensation build up.

I had indy put sealer in and recharge and it was marginal for several years, until I had to replace dryer, and both condensers.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Looking for recommendations as to getting my 00 C2 coupe back on the road. A year ago I replaced a clutch fluid line and thought it would be a good idea to rebuild the brakes while at it. Long story short, life happened (buying home, retiring from one career, moving etc)the car ended up sitting in my garage on stands just past a year. Looking to get her back on the road for the summer. What needs to be done? Im thinking new battery, drain the fuel tank and change the oil. The after market exhaust sounds great but giving me a CEL so Ill have to fix that as well prior to inspection to get my tags. Also, started getting tiny mold spots on my leather when door was cracked. First time owning a 911, great car, tasteful mods. Any recommendations are appreciated.
Those mold spots and your location (N.C.) suggests storage was in a high humidity, say damp, environment. Hence, I recommend draining the old fuel and flushing the brake/clutch systems for removal of doubt about any condensation build up. Plus change fuel filters. None of these steps are expensive undertakings.

my AC crapped out the year I let my 2000 sit unused. I had indy put sealer in and recharge and it was marginal for several years, until I had to replace dryer, and both condensers.
