Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello guys,
This is my first post to rennlist because I just recently purchased a 996 C2. I am dailying the car and want to be able to take it to some hill climbs in Pennsylvania and to Mid Ohio in spring/summer. My first plans were wheels/tires, and coilovers with a corner balance. I'm looking a some Cayman GT2 wheels with a 235-30-19 in front and a 295-30-19 in rear and BC Racing Coils, I was hoping to find someone similar mods to let me know what they think of it. Thanks guys!

Really curious what wheel you have because I can only find 20" OEM wheels for the Cayman GT4. As dan_189 pointed out there is not a Cayman GT2.
1) Do you have a photo of the wheels?
2) Are you aware of the offset of the wheels you're looking at?
The title of the posting was confusing and I don't follow the Cayman line at all so I don't know what the wheels originally belong to. I have found a set of 997 wheels though, 19x8 et 57 19x11 et 67, which are local so I'm going to go that direction wheel wise.
My 19's Front 8.5 x 19 w et 50 (Tires 235/40/19) Rear 11 x 19 et 64 (Tires 295/30/19) fit great without rubbing but I have OEM suspension. Will be curious to see how yours fit. Please re-post after you get them mounted. Is your car lowered at all with your suspension set-up? I am looking to install ROW 030 but want to make sure that the 10-20 mm lowering will not cause tires to rub.
Check out this thread.

Dion says he has a 19x11 et55 with 285/30/19's and H&R lowering springs which are provide a 30mm drop and he doesn't rub. I think you should be good. I realized that the BC Racing coils were for WBs only so that idea got scrapped. I think I'm going to go with ROW M030 with H&R lowering springs and 235/35/19's front and 285/30/19 rears. But until money is out the door everything is up in the air.
