Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

A wind storm blew over a large tree in front of me recently. I was able to partially stop before fully hitting it but one branch punctured the black rubber/plastic shroud behind the drivers side of the front bumper. I'm trying to get my hands on the part before I bring the car to my friends shop but I'm having trouble being 100% sure what I'm ordering. The shroud was is missing a piece I'm not certain I'm correct. I'm thinking it's: PORSCHE OEM 99-01 911-Radiator Cooling Fan Blade Shroud 99657532100 Any insight is much appreciated. Thank you. It's a 99' 996 base model Carrera.

That p/n looks correct from this link (part #13). http://www.autoatlanta.com/porsche-parts/hardparts.php?dir=996-99-05&section=105-15

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm pretty sure that's not the part after pulling a big piece of it loose (looking for a part number) It looks to fit in more to the center/left of the left radiator. I can't find anything that looks like it on the front bumper detail. Is there anyone familiar with the standard 99 carrera front end that I can reach out to? Thanks

POST 5Original post

I went out and looked at my car. Also a 99 C2. I wasn't sure which part it was until I watched a youtube video on "Cleaning a Porsche 996's Radiators". After watching the start of the video, I concur that it is part number 99657532100.
