Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. I use a dab or two of silicon on mine and it seems to work just fine, and still easy to pop off.

Both of these items are going to be used after my rims get refinished in a few weeks.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi Everyone, any advice for me to purchase new center caps for my 2004 Carrera? I'm watching a few sets on Ebay but look to all of you for some additional places to look. Also looking to purchase new caps for the lugs, Ebay has tons of them, any thoughts? Both of these items are going to be used after my rims get refinished in a few weeks. Thanks Ralph
I have these on my turbo also had them on my C2 for ~4 years. They are actually not bad at all. The colored part has a clear film that protects them and can be peeled off when it gets dirt under it. I thought the color film was breaking down when I first saw it but they looked fine without it. YMMV

Ditto. And I got the silver badge on black cap. After I got it, I filled in the red parts of the badge with red enamel and it matches my silver hood badge and silver steering wheel badge perfectly.

The only problem with aftermarket center caps is they tend to be a little small. Some electrical tape around the plastic clips that hold the caps into the wheel is a free, invisible, and perfectly functional solution.
Thanks. By "a little small," incidentally, I mean a millimeter or two in circumference smaller; certainly not a visible amount. It is, however, enough for the caps to be loose in the wheels.
I admit that this is based on a ridiculously small sample size (three sets, bought over several years), but all of 'em were smaller than factory caps have been.
I had one a bit loose and you can bend the plastic bits around the piece. It will hold tight, if no , then do any of the above suggestions is great, O I've also run pipe tape white tape around and around and around till I get the perfect fit
I use a dab or two of silicon on mine and it seems to work just fine, and still easy to pop off. On an older set of wheels I had a loose cap that would rotate and rattle in the most annoying way.
