Anyone know if there would be any sense or benefit of replacing my current 2002 C4 cab stock springs (40K miles) with a set of C4S springs (10K miles on them)?

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anyone know if there would be any sense or benefit of replacing my current 2002 C4 cab stock springs (40K miles) with a set of C4S springs (10K miles on them)?

POST 2Original post

C4S had a special set of springs developed for them for sport characteristics and specific to each model so if you are matching with the exacty same model it would probibly work ok. No tip/manual match, no cab coupe match etc.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Cool, I will check to make sure that the C4s from which the springs came was also a 6-speed Cab.

POST 4Original post

If I remember right, there are three different springs and strut combinations available for the C4S designated by color code. Each has a colored dot designating which. (M030/RoW30/Sport/Stock) I forget which is which but you'll want to do a rennlist/renntrack/google search: Brown Blue Green ? Would be much easier to buy H&Rs but if you've gotten this far I'd take a look at the above.
