Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Apologies if this has been covered before. I have an intermittent rear spoiler fault on my 2003 turbo. The spoiler rises & lowers fine at the speeds its supposed to, but on the odd occasion the fault light comes on, but the spoiler still works as it should. Turn the car off the fault clears and all fine for a while, then fault appears again. Any suggestions? Thanks, Sean.

Ask in the turbo forum too.

POST 3Original post

failed microswitch gave me this issue on a 2004 turbo.. the OEM switches are fragile and crappy. If you order a new one, youll get a better designed switch that has no exposed fragile parts. id also recommend replacing the entire microswitch harness as it comes with both the upper and lower switch nicely bundled. i think the harness will be 150~.. youll need one for each side.. if you open the switch to inspect it, it will fall apart.
