Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

This has worked very well keeping bird sh..t , leaves, cooler seats, even light rain out of the interior.

Have been discussed in the past, not sure if a member here actually got one: https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...s-pre-fit.html https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...96-cabrio.html IMHO, this maker is the "best" HardBack Concept by Delavilla, available for 996 and 997 convertible - YouTube

KD, I am looking at tonneau cover not the hump. Sometimes called interior cover. RBC

California car covers, Page 14, custom fit interior covers. http://www.flippubs.com/publication/...2page%22:14%7D Plus with the interior covered it helps to discourage crows from flying away with anything shiny.

POST 5Original post

I loved having a tonneau on our MGA roadster - WAY more convenient than putting up the convertible top (although a 996's top is just slightly more modern ) - interior stayed clean, and there were even times when it made sense to leave the passenger side covered (like misty weather). The tonneau covers I looked at for my Boxster required drilling anchor/fasteners, and I don't think I'd want to do that to Porsche sheet metal - I could never bring myself to install one while I had my 986.

POST 6Original post

The one above is not a "real" tonneau cover, like the ones I had on my Jaguars that you could drive with, it is just a cover that you can use to over the interior when parked. We still find it useful. I didn't want to add snaps etc either.
