Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My car came with Techart wheels and NT01 Tires. The wheels are 18x9 and 18x11. Current tires are 225 - 40-18 Fronts and 315 - 30- 18. I am trying to find a good tire size as the fronts are a little stretched and the rears are a little bulged. I want to do a good street tire. Thinking 235-40-18 and 295-30-18 (Cant find much in a 305) Any suggestions for size and tire with those wheel widths? Want a pretty vertical flush with the rim look.

POST 2Original post

315 is too wide for a 11, 295 was stock. 305 would be the widest for a 11

POST 3Original post

235-40-18 and 295-30-18 is best for those wheels

POST 4Original post

And also realize that Nt01s tend to run wider than advertised. The 315 NT01s are rated for 10.5-11.5" wide rims but I ran mine on 12". Assuming your turbo is 4 wheel drive you will need to make sure that your diameters stay within 3% of the recommended wheel diameter ratio as well.

POST 5Original post

I've ran 315/235 Nt01 combos on my 11' hollow spokes for the last 6 years, no issues. Presently I'm using yokohama AD08r and they are true to size in my opinion. They make for a very good dual purpose street/DE tire. Good in rain as well.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Car will likely never see track time, so I would prefer to get away from a comp type tire as the wear does not match my needs and the noise can be bothersome.

POST 7Original post

open up the manual and look at what the stock tire size is for the 18s. or you can go to tire rack and look. As stated tho, make sure to retain <3% deviation between front and back or youll burn the 4wd viscus coupler up
