Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Suggestion

The car in question (High mileage, low optioned and mediocre condition) will not represent what the normal super clean PCA conditioned value will bring.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

http://bringatrailer.com/listing/2003-porsche-996-c4s/ Following the pleasant surprise of a '99 aero C2 going for $35k last week, I'm interested to see how the market values its wide-bodied brother.

POST 2Original post

Nice find. Higher mileage, but a newer engine. Purists will probably snort and others will talk about the Vertex IMSB replacement. Don't know enough about BAT, is there a reserve price or is it high bid wins?

POST 3Original post

I think the fact that the new Carrera are all going to have a turbo will only push up the value of the normally aspirated modern 911 models. I watched this with older models in the 80's. They hit their low value mark and then because of either style or technical change, they begin to rise consistently. Electronic nannies and lack of a proper manual transmission is a huge reason why the 996 will go up when properly equipped. The IMS is a one time maintenance fix so its a non issue anymore. When modern cars feature their computer as a central interior design element, it gives a " Geewhiz" advantage when they are new. The problem with this is, like a outdated computer, they look dated much much sooner and don't age as well than the cars that have a simplistic interior design with buttons instead of a MMI mouse or touch screen. The car in question (High mileage, low optioned and mediocre condition) will not represent what the normal super clean PCA conditioned value will bring.
