Suggestion

With the GT3 style seats I have the drivers side bolster has begun to wear only because I got lazy and started to slide into the car instead of using my hand on the door sill as a prop to help me over the bolster.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm looking to install a quality, fixed-back seat that will permit 5/6 point harnesses and also manageable on a daily basis on the street. It's not my only street car, but I do drive it frequently on the street. I've tried the OMP Champ-R, which I like a lot, but it's too narrow for me. The OMP First-R fits me perfectly, but I like the better materials on the Champ-R; I also worry about the higher bolsters. Has anyone used the WRC-R on the street? Are the bolster's too high, or are they manageable? Thanks, David

POST 4Original post

David, I'm thinking the true issue is getting in and out of the car. Once your in your in provided the seat is sized per you. With the GT3 style seats I have the drivers side bolster has begun to wear only because I got lazy and started to slide into the car instead of using my hand on the door sill as a prop to help me over the bolster. Hope that helps! See you at Indy!
