Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
I'd highly recommend their car clinic and then their DE (track day) in the novice group.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Has anyone been to the Toronto Motor Speedway? Been thinking about fighting my way through the polar bears and penguins and taking a trip to the great white north. I'm about equal distance from Watkins Glen and TMS and TMS is about 1/2 the cost. Has anyone been to this track?
I was looking to learn to drive before I went out with my PCA club. Don't want to embarrass myself too badly. Toronto Motor Speedway is pretty close to me and seems to be reasonably priced. I've been driving a 986 Boxster for a few years and just bought a 996 C2. Unlike the Boxster, the C2 feels like it could get out from underneath me if I'm not careful.
Thanks for advice. I'd hate to take the trip for nothing. I thought these cars had some sort of deployable roll bar. I'll need to check to see if that is enough. They wouldn't let me track Boxster because I was too tall for the factory roll bar. I wonder if the same would be true for a 996.
If your local PCA club is anything like the two I've been with it would be a great resource for driver training. I'd highly recommend their car clinic and then their DE (track day) in the novice group. You will have a very knowledgeable instructor for the entire event - no extra charge. I think PCA allows cabrios as well.
You're right - the 996 is much more powerful than the 986, but it's an amazing car on track when you learn how to drive it at the limit.
