I would like to replace my lights with LEDs since they are brighter, and I have seen options for relay replacements made for LED bulbs to eliminate hyperflash.

Hi, everyone. I wanted to see if someone out there could give me a definitive answer. Main question: Does the 2000 Carrera have a turn signal relay? I don't have the owner's manual for my 2000 Carrera, and looking online I've only been able to find a manual for a 2002 Carrera. I would like to replace my lights with LEDs since they are brighter, and I have seen options for relay replacements made for LED bulbs to eliminate hyperflash. I called "Superbright LEDs" since I saw their name on several forums here, and the person I spoke to was very nice, but they really had no idea from what I could tell, and she tried selling me resistors for each bulb. I asked her about a specific relay ( Relay ) since I saw someone in the comments say it worked perfectly for their 2002 Porsche 996. She said it wouldn't work in my car because... she didn't know. If anyone could give me any recommendations about the relay and any specific bulbs that are great I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks in advance

There’s most definitely a flasher relay. I replaced mine with one from Novita to handle the LEDs.
