Our black Friday involves add ons, which in this case is a free spring rate change using swifts if you need a different rate.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hey everyone,
I've been looking to purchase and install hlins R&T coilovers for my 996 turbo, but they seem to be out of stock directly from hlins and most retailers I've checked. The expected in-stock date I'm seeing is now February, which appears to have slipped from December (though different retailers seem to have different dates).
Does anyone know what's going on with hlins availability? I'm wondering if the delay might be related to repackaging for their new visual identity, or if there's something else causing the shortage.
Also, what's the best source from a pricing perspective? With Black Friday coming up, I'm hoping to take advantage of any sales if I can actually find a retailer that has them in stock or can guarantee delivery soon.
Many thanks!
I had the same problem in Australian 18 months ago (for a C2). no stock. no date.
So I went with another brand (local) that offered custom valving etc. Now rides like a 996 GT3
We nor anyone is likely to have them until March now. Our black Friday involves add ons, which in this case is a free spring rate change using swifts if you need a different rate. If you don't need add ons then Ohlins has not lifted MAP pricing up to this point.
Thanks, Chris. I really dont want to wait until March or later. What would you recommend as most equivalent to Ohlins, prioritizing street use and bump compliance as well as performance. Some of our best twisty roads are a bit beat up.
do you have any insight into why Ohlins doesnt have stock? (Similarly, if a customer had a broken Ohlins part, would they be out of luck until March?)
Looks like they will be available Q1 2026 - a short timeline for a part made for low volume 20-25 year old car.
For reference, KW is made to order for 996TT and has a 6-10 week build time.
