Hello! I was able to source some 18way 981 seats to replace the 2 way power/heated seats in the 996. Hoping I didn't overcommit myself to this mod, but wingbacks at a good price? Its worth a shot! Who can help sort out the wiring / where to procure a harness. Tell it to me straight. If i can put these in and only control 2 way movement, no big deal. if there is more i can do with more wiring/relay work let it be known. Thank you!

There is some useful information on 997 to 996 seat installation here and on the interwebs. Apparently some of it is similar to 991 installation and works including adapting wiring. My impression is that bolting them in is no problem.

I have some info in my thread here: https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...meric-etc.html But I got the 4-way seats which are a breeze to integrate, I think yours will need the seat memory modules as well as they are the 18-way ones.
