Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Im running in circles trying to find the part numbers for the body plugs in the panel underneath the rear lid and engine cover. The shop manual has references to a 10mm plug but no number. There are other points on the car where it appears that plugs had been at one point but removed or fell off. These have a hole diameter of 10mm and a surface area (unpainted ring) around 18mm.

POST 2Original post

This is one of those things that is completely worth printing vs wondering how to source. How thick is the sheetmetal (+ ridge) there?

I broke a plug while removing the frunk carpeting and found a 3D file to duplicate it. The only difference from the stock plug is that it's flat and not concave but it's not really noticeable. My plug was for a 13mm hole but playing around with the file just now, I was able to scale it down for a 10mm hole and the cap is 20mm. Link to the file: https://thangs.com/designer/OMI-engi...r%20Clip-40191 Plugs for 13mm hole on left, 10mm on right.
