Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Was making a few 0 to 60 runs in my 01 C4 earlier today on a friends private road. With PSM turned off, on the 2nd run my engine cut out at high RPM's. Restarted the car and got the dreaded ABS & PSM followed momentarily by the CEL. Did a few cycles but lights stayed on. Drove home with no problem but 30 minutes later I tried to restart the car and now the engine fires up but cuts out immediately - does this sound like a MAF issue? Was about to hook up the durametric but naturally the laptop is fried. When it rains it pours. thanks much

POST 2Original post

sorry about the troubles... get that cel code. It will be a big help... durametric can be downloaded at their sight.
