Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 7Original post

I really like the steering wheel ---- Very nice.

POST 8Original post

I am just about to send the wheel from my '02 996 Carrera to Don at Dallas Steering Wheel. I have been back and forth between Alcantra and Leather, due to concerns regarding the long term wear ofAlcantra compared to Leather. Were you concerned about long term wear of Alcantrea, or perhaps you just wanted to get your GT3 on, and never even considered Leather? Thanks for any input - Mawgie

POST 15Original post

Blue stitching looks GREAT, Randy! You will LOVE the Alcantara look and feel for a very long time. I have had an Alcantara steering wheel (and shift boot) on my car for 2 1 /2 years now. No indication of any wear - car is a daily driver and occasional DE car. Steering wheel is never hot to the touch in the summer, or cold in the winter. Color is black so it doesn't show any dirt, either. I would do it again in a heart beat to any future Porsches.
