Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Living on the west coast during the california 10 year drought with guys painting their lawns green sure has changed a bit.
Leading evidence: 'Replace bit' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace bit' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

I've watched some of the raod test video's on youtube of the C4 and the AWD on dry tracks is where the car seems to really do great.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Kind of a shame the way the C4 was made for inclimate weather and some don't use it for what it's intended for. But I'm really posting after seeing the way 99% of the norther hemisphere has cloud cover. Everywhere except for a little of the UK is clouds on Intellicasts sat picture of the earth. Man what are you guys doing up there above the tropic of cancer? Are you trying to counter global warming or what?
Living on the west coast during the california 10 year drought with guys painting their lawns green sure has changed a bit. I'm not kidding about people painting their lawns green. Something a guy who lived in oegon would never forget.
So how about a week end weather report from the porsche network here?
I drive my C4 every day of the year in Chicago. Rain, Snow, Heat, and it will never cease to amaze me. I know that some owners think that it is a sin to allow a drop of water to touch a 911 without having first been triple filtered, but most of our cars will end up in the same place as a Toyota in 25 years anyway. Might as well enjoy the crap out of these cars every day!!
By the way, the weather sucks in Chicago; snow and slush everywere.
Many people will argue that the AWD system in the 911 cars over the years isn't about inclement weather, but rather improving your performance on dry roads or the track. I think a C2 with proper winter tires will perform almost as well as a C4S or C4 in the snow.
Personally, I drive mine all year, rain or shine. Of course snow deeper than about 4 inches causes some problems, so I take the Cayenne on those days...
AWD would certainly bring performance improvement at the track, if it didn't add the extra weight. The lighter the better, although at least the weight isn't up high.
That would be a great combination! Interestingly, in the Top Gear comparison of the 997 C2 vs. the 997 C4, the C4 posted faster times, despite the extra weight. The AWD seems to have made a difference.
I've watched some of the raod test video's on youtube of the C4 and the AWD on dry tracks is where the car seems to really do great. Just most guys on streets wouldn't be finding the extra performance except fot short periods or going to jail. The car does really perform excellent.
On the weather side it appears the DC and surroundings has been slammed with snow shutting down regular vehicular traffic. Excellent time for a C4 commercial driving by stuck emergency crews.
I read an article on a c2 vs c4..... on dry, the c4 is faster on the circuit. Surprisingly, the c2 was faster on a wet track.... the c2 was far more predictable (drifting). While the c4 was harder to turn around the corner.... but we are talking at 9-10/10.
I drove a little north of Minneapolis today in my winter car (Cherokee), hit a couple of potholes that shook the sh*t out of it......don't even want to think of what would happen to my baby if I hit those in her......could be that they would have just swallowed her up......they were deep!! How deep where they? So deep that...Oh, I don't want to steal the thread......
