Suggestion

You will be happy....althought the set has only 9k miles on it, I would guess they are track miles which is like 10x the wear of street miles....

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

19 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Do it! DO IT!!!! ... and while the parts sit on the garage floor patiently waiting to get installed on your car, this will give the dust in your garage something other than the floor to land on for the next 9 to 12 months.

Had you in mind when posting....

POST 6Original post

my guess is that I would buy it............... then find out I nedd $1200 in additional parts to get it to fit BUT - maybe not..... That is a fair deal if it is a bolt on and run set up (minus the anti-roll bars which will set you back another $4-500)

POST 7Original post

If none of the GT3 parts fit Ed's car...somebody should tell him about the sale!?

All you need to know. Paul 996 is a wealth of information. I think he was one of the first people to do it on Rennlist with a write up... https://rennlist.com/forums/996-gt2-...uspension.html

You go and sell that spare car cover and get yourself some suspension...

POST 12Original post

OK - but ONLY if someone offers me less than 1/2 what I paid

POST 13Original post

ED, you buy them and than when you cant get them to fit sell them to me for half what you paid, than I will leave them in my garage for a year to collect dust.

POST 15Original post

Phil will want to get into your deal as well.

POST 16Original post

I just ordered (last week) the X74 and it is sitting (got it this past Friday!) in my garage.......this thread pops up now? Tell me I'm better off with the X74.......

POST 17Original post

you are better off with the X74 this set is not complete

POST 19Original post

PLUS there is a big diff between new and pre-owned You will be happy....althought the set has only 9k miles on it, I would guess they are track miles which is like 10x the wear of street miles.... Still - kinda makes ya a little P.O'd ehhhh... Remember my first reply "or wait for a used GT3 suspension" (I got flamed) I almost bought the ROW and then mine came alone. Its not the same but it fit my situation better. If I was in a better spot I would buy this in a heart beat since I have the "rest" of the set up the X74 is already to drop in and run with NO issues. That is worth quite a bit in itself. If I was near your home I would help you drop it in your car tonight... 2 of us could have it done in 3-4 hours !!
