Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I got a new camera and freshly washed and waxed my car. So I took some snaps and I'll be damned if this silver on black low bling 996 looks every bit a modern classic. I'm installing a set of PSS9 this spring which will improve the stance.
It's my daily driver so yes - I think I will.
And you know what? As good looking as it is, it runs and handles even better.
I gotta say I do like this car.. a lot.
I agree, the 996 looks like a classic to me too. Especially compared to the 997. My brother in law has a brand new one, and it looks too much like the Cayanne inside for my taste. My 2000 looks more like a 993 inside to me compared to the 997.
Nice looking clean MKII Jasper!
Me too. With the design more than a decade old, now, and Porsche having moved on in terms of styling, you can finally appraise the 996 design on its own merits. When I see one that's plain and unmodified, I'm struck by what a thoughtful evolution the 996 body was. It's its own thing, rather than being a cartoon of the original, but Lai showed a lot of respect for where the car came from. I'm a long way from sick of looking at mine.
I love my 996 interior. The 997 fit and finish is much improved, but the shapes, curves, and cockpit feel of the 996 dash feels much more at home with the classic 911 exterior lines.
Well done, Pinky Lai!
I agree!
And when I said the 996 interior was more 993-like compared to the 997, I meant the fact that the 996 interior is more mono-tone, more all-business, and more upgraded classic compared to the 997.
