Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I'm good, I just think they'd be installed better than glue.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I was getting in my car the other day when my wife noticed one of my wheel crest missing from my 01 C2. I looked at the others and one was barely attached as well. My question - a little stupid - is how are they affixed? I see that there was some sort of adhesive, but I can't imagine that's what was holding them in place. I also notice two small holes, but don't know if small screws are in there or not. I'm wondering if it was vandalism b/c they were both on the same side. Any info would be great. The other two seem to be solid.
All info appreciated! Where can I get a replacement? I have the center cap still, just the crest is missing.
Thanks,
Paul
Common problem. Crests affixed with glue. Can't buy replacement crests. THe holes are for pulling the center cap without having to remove the whole wheel. New center caps can be puchased from your local Porsche dealer.

You might call Ralph Boothe (
http://www.boothedesign.com/
) to see if he can sell you replacement crests, otherwise guess you'll need a few new center caps (which are readily available from many sources, including usually on ebay, Wheel Enhancement).
Mine fell off after about 10 months from new. They were replaced under warranty and was told it is a common problem with bad adhesive, you should try to claim, what's to lose?

Not great...
I got so fed up with going back to the dealer for a replacememt, I prised all the crests off, and re-glued them with Araldite. No more falling off crests for me...
