Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. This is not a probability of success.

If its going to be a dedicated track rig why not just run bypass pies?
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hey Guys. My new favorite delivery guy just left. Steve from Intercity Lines just dropped off my new to me 996. It came from a fellow Rennlister in Atlanta and now resides here in New Hampshire. Its a basic 99 C2 that I bought to replace my 944 Turbo S track car (thats it in the background) . Within the next week it will have new rotors, pads, exhaust, wheels, hoosiers, roll bar, race seats, X-51 oil pan, fluids and a good general detailing. First trackday with the new car is July 6th in Canada. I cant wait. Ill supply more photos as the transformation continues.
Oh, here's a little bit of my Porsche background. My first car at 15 was a 72 914.....it hasn't been the same since.

Congrats! Looks like it already has some kind of suspension?
You've had some nice Porsches in the past, wow, 914-6, early 911S.
Is that your Porsche workshop? Gotta love it!
you are gonna love them.... nice and quiet inside, subtle rumble when slowing, and a nice little growl when you get on them...
as for the wheels on it... I would suggest keeping them and finding a set of winter tires to swap to when it snows... these are a BLAST in the snow!!
Congrats! Another "so-so silver" (not so-so to me...) Welcome to the 996, you'll find a nice home here with help if you need it, and laughter, whether you need it or not... Way to pre-empt the elders with the pictures.
Welcome and enjoy!
Rudy
