Still have my heart set on the red for now though...

Maybe someone can suggest a helpful place to look for used 996's?
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello everyone, I've recently been given the green light from the wife to get a 996. We've been looking for a while and have narrowed it down to the following specs:
- C2
- cab
- manual
- 2002 and newer
- red interior
- silver/gray exterior
I was actually really surprised to how much I liked the red interior, which seems to be one of the more rare options. We're flexible on some of the other options. The local dealer has a silver and red cab but it's a 2000, and I really want the 2002 and newer model.
So I was hoping you fellow board members may know of a car in your area matching our criteria? We have some time before we make a purchase, but after driving the 996 lately it's getting harder and harder to be patient...
Thanks in advance for your help. This forum has been a great information source. Loved Porsche's for a long time, had a Boxster that I had to regrettably sell for work reasons and looking forward to being back in the Family.

I don't know of any for sale, but I love the red interior too. I made an offer on a 2000 silver/red Cab with aero, but he sold to someone else. I've seen a few black turbos with red interior. Very nice.
There is a black/red 2002 PORSCHE 911 TURBO AWD/4X4 TIPTRONIC SUNROOF 39K MI on Ebay in Texas for sale. I know you said silver/gray, but maybe the turbo makes up for the exterior color?
Good luck with your search.
Thanks for the help, but the turbo is more than I want to spend. Nice cars though.
Funny thing, when we first saw the red interior I didn't like it at all, but after sitting in the car and driving it I really fell in love. Now it's become one of my top options. I also like to look of metropol blue. My boxster had that color scheme and it was a nice, subtle color. Still have my heart set on the red for now though...
Maybe someone can suggest a helpful place to look for used 996's? I've been looking on Autotrader, ebay, rennlist classifieds, as well as the random google searches. Any other lists or forums I should be checking?
Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.
Try the PCA website. You can request access to the classifieds and do not have to be a member. I think you can get free access for up to 6 months iirc. Best of luck!
