All, Does anyone happen to know of a PPI mechanic in the Springfield, MA area? I've been in the market now for about 2 months and I've narrowed down my search to a C4S. You're kind of in the middle between NER and CVR, both of whom have some great indys. Here is a list of the NER wrenches: http://www.porschenet.com/JCMS/content/view/54/48/ Some of them on the list are definitely worth the hour or so trip from Springfield IMHO.

Eric, The only experience I have with them is talking with the owner on the phone when I was semi-seriously starting to think about looking for a used 911. He seemed like a straight shooter and very knowledgable, but other than that I have no first hand (or even second hand) experience to steer you toward or away from him, sorry. Dave

For a 996 PPI there is nobody in western Massachusetts that I would use. The only place in the area with any real experience is the local dealership and you know what they say about not saying anything if you have nothing good to say... JE Robison would be okay for pre-964 model. I would venture slightly south to Connecticut, about an hour away in Canton is Automobile Associates.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
