Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
It's my 5th Porsche (80,85,90,95,02) and is the first one that I can honestly say is easy to use on a daily basis.

I have only 2 weeks of use so far but I can honestly say that this is the best car I have ever owned or driven.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have had my 996 for almost 6 months now and have put 15.000 kms on it already. Runs great. Fills all my needs and is proving very easy to live with. I bought the car under garantee and will most certainly buy another period to it next year, for the peace of mind.
And the best of all is that it has now become MY car, like a good friend not an expensive mistress...
just sharing...
Dear Jan, I have had mine for 3 months. Had a 540 hp Firebird before. This car is truely amazing to drive. You feel a part of the machine. I wonder what it is like driving it on curvey mountain roads of Sweden? I live here in flat Florida...Congratulations
Youre right gents. These are incredible cars. I took mine to work this morning and am still smiling like a kid. Nothing like passing pickups at warp speed. I'm amazed at how refined and powerful the 996 is yet still connected to the road like previous models. I wouldnt trade the sense of road vibration through the throttle pedal and steering wheel for anything more 'smooth' though. I can always get jarred in the 993 or 914/6 to remind me of Porsche's history.

And I have sooo many people tell me how beautiful it is. It's an arctic silver C4S - a car I had only dreamed of owning.
993 gone but not forgotten, now in an '02 silver C4S
The P-Cars are created from the Souls of German Gods - They provide a sense of boy-ish racing heritage without the fast and the furious mentality - they are for the people who pride themselves with greatness and perfection. I personally love driving my Targa, in 7 months I have put on 15K miles, without a hitch.
Elegant engineering is subtle and almost has to be "looked" for. I got a chance to see a bunch of cars on racks at the dealer and the little things are so damn impressive that when I take them as a totality, I'm astounded!!
I asked the tech, "who thinks these things up?" He could only smile, and I broke out in one too! What wonderful machines!
I've only had my '00 for three months now but I'm so in love. The looks, the handling, the overall performance. It puts a smile on my face every time I see it. My four year old son asks several times an evening to open the door to the garage to look at it. A trip with Dad to the store or school is pure bliss (for us both).
Someday I'll probably purchase a GT3 but I plan on enjoying this piece of German craftsmanship for many, many years.
PS- I know it is an "old car" with the Boxster headlights but the response I get from others while in traffic, at a stoplight, anywhere is amazing. I was in a parking garage a couple of evenings ago and a young couple stopped me to admire the car and ask questions about the color, the interior, the perforamance, etc. Pretty wild. Not the reason I bought it but it does tickle me a bit!
