just joined after a few weeks of lurking, great site! I want to upgrade my exhaust. the main 2 canidates are PSE and GHL. MY question was does anybody have actual proof of HP gains using these 2 upgrades. I know the sound is more than enough reason to upgrade, but i was wondering which provided moreof a boost. any help will be great, thanks.

Although either pipe may give it a couple hp, if any, I doubt there will be a noticable difference.

I just got the GHL installed on my 2001 Carrera. I'm not sure if there's much in the way of HP gain - my butt dyno says that there may be a little, but not much. It may be too early to tell since I think the ECU is still getting accustomed to the change. And I love the sound, which is why I did it, not for any HP gains. A nice low rumble at idle and a good throaty noise the rest of the time. I only got it installed this morning (by GHL themselves, btw - very nice guys to do business with) so I'll have to wait and see if it changes as I get some miles on it. Steve in AZ
