Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Check engine light. Diagnostic code = P1125 stored & P1123 Pending Can anyone tell me what these codes mean?? I do not have a 996 manual. Boxter manual for P1125 referred to the mass airflow sensor. Thanks, AERO 996

POST 2Original post

From Renntech: P1123 - Oxygen Sensing Adaptation Area 1 (Cylinders 1 - 3) - Lean Threshold P1125 - Oxygen Sensing Adaptation Area 1 (Cylinders 4 - 6) - Lean Threshold Fuel/air mixture is so rich that sensing is up to its lean threshold. Which means you are running too rich. The manual lists probable causes as: - Fuel pressure too high. - Fuel injector leaking. - EVAP canister purge valve open.

POST 3Original post

hey Bill, how's it going man? This is Karl saying hi from Virginia. Hope you get that small issue with your car taken cared of. How is it otherwise? I've been doing quite a few track events with my turbo.. here are pics and videos from the events: karljay.com/cars/gallery get that baby fixed and ready, and track it ;-)

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey KJ, Guess you still monitoring the list.!! Video's are great. i watched a few. Looks like your having a good time. Did some work on the mass airflow, oxygen sensor, and air filter and the check engine light appears to have gone away. For now anyway. Everything is good here. Retiring on August 25... 32 years is enough. In the meantime I bought a Harley and an Audi A6 Quattro for retirement. SOme toys to keep me occupied in retirement. Keep in touch, Bill
