what size is an opening created by a non-smoker pkg? would a tellphone 5000 remote control fit in there? the dimensions of the remote control are: 65mm x 30mm x 30mm thanks.

yup. exactly. without ashtray the opening is 100+mm X 50+mm but i am not sure how much the pocket size decreases with a non-smoker pkg. think a device of these dimensions would fit in there: 65mm x 30mm x 30mm thx a bunch!

OK, The cavity is about 4" long, 1-1/2" wide at the bottom, 2" wide at the top, and about 1-3/4" deep, so that remote would have room to swim.
