Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Well, after much searching and longing I bought these wheels and tires. I had to stay on budget. These were less than 2k shipped.
I like the look and fell of them. The center caps are a work in progress though.
Here are a few pictures and a movie driveby.
Drive By in .WMV format
They are 19's with H&R springs. I have to come up with a creative way to fix the centers as they are not a standard size etc. Like I said.....work in progress....
Looks pretty good.
I must say though, that one of the reasons *I* wouldn't get 19" wheels, is because the stock brakes just don't fill them out, so there is that big empty space inside the wheel. I would want my car to look like it NEEDS such big wheels.
here is something i saw done here.....there are places like print graphic shops (small indepent type kinkos shops)that can print out on vinyl type thermal paper (sticker paper) the porsche logo exactly the size you need, cut it the exact circular size to fit your existing cap and stick it right on top, very hard to even tell it is a sticker unless you are close up, but it does look good...imagine a professionally printed porsche sticker....crisp and clear....good luck
That aereokit I is the best on an early 996, looks awsome, wheels ain't too bad either. Don't worry about the brakes, once they get dirty, nobody will notice.
Dude you made the right call. Those wheels definitely set your Porsha apart. Maybe if you went with red calipers or painted them it would fill up the inside a bit more, since you woudl notice them more. The center cap doesn't look so bad, gives it more of a Porsche aftermarket tuner look like Gemballa, RUF or 9ff.'
btw, what kind of dressing are you using on the tires? looks good not too flashy.
those are Axis Hiro's. I used to own a 350z and they were a popular wheel among Z owners. I think they are awesome looking wheels. Just a heads up though, a few Z owners had issues with the Hiro's cracking...so keep an eye out.
Doubt if they are Axis Hiro's.
Axis wheels have a logo in the spoke and these do not.
Also there is no mentioning of 5X130 on the Axis site.

Maybe they are knockoffs or maybe Axis made this model without
their logo specially for Porsche.
Anyway , here they are with black center:

btw , wheels look superb on your car Tim , great choice
Yea your right, Hiros do have the logo in the spoke...forgot about that. Well they do look amazing, did you notice a big change in terms of acceleration or handling with going to these wheels?
Woody:
They are 235 up front and 275 rear. And are Hankooks. So far the tire is quiet and hold the road just like a champ. My car is lowered on Cargraphics springs.
And thanks guys for the comments!
They seem to be selling them for a great price- $1200 shipped. i almost feel like ordering a set plus one extra in case i break one. It seems people have had problems with them, and the roads here in montreal are downright scary!
Isnt it funny how they found your pics so quickly and put them in their auction?
Yeah and they are 50 higher than DTMAutowerks is selling them for. Get in touch with Herb at DTM for them. Herb asked me for pictures to use on his site and I agreed. But he had the class to ask first.
