I've got the older light grey interior and replaced the seats (front and back) and floor mats with black ones for a bit of a two-toned look.

I used Dupli Color Perfect Match BGM0340 Silver Metallic from the auto parts store.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have the gray interior and it has not aged very well and honestly don't really like the all gray. Does anyone have any pictures of a gray interior with any other color (or carbon fiber or whatever) interior pieces mixed with the gray interior? I am curious to see how it would look.
The interior of my 996 is grey and it looks and feels like new. Mind you, my seats are cleaned and conditioned on an annual basis and the vehicle is garaged and not exposed to the elements.
There is a member on here with a mk2 blue car with an aerokit II that has a grey interior, GT3 seats and alcantara highlights. Might give you some idea?
Also in the classifieds there is a guy stripping out a mk1 996 interior to make it a track car, you might be able to get a few bits from him to bring yours back to life
I have upgraded my gray interior....its oh so nice now. I will be sending my steering wheel, sun visors, old shift **** and console knee pieces off to Poland soon to have them covered in Alcantara.

The fabric/Alcantara will also help with sliding in the seat during track days. Hmmmm something to think about.
Anyone know ballpark pricing on getting seats done in an alternative fabric?
I painted some of the grey plastic bits with Alumalook type paint. I used Dupli Color Perfect Match BGM0340 Silver Metallic from the auto parts store.
Not a radical change, but it breaks up the grey.

for some more ideas.
I have a grey interior as well and while I don't think its terribly low in quality, it seems to chip and scratch very easily. My center console and plastic pieces are a bit marked up and do look tired. Unless you find carbon fiber at a decent price, it is way too $$$$.
There are carbon fiber overlay kits on ebay but they obviously aren't extremely high quality. Basically a vinyl sticker. On some trim pieces, it doesn't look half bad.
But in my case, I think I will buy some various interior pieces in black so that I can break up all the grey.
I've got the older light grey interior and replaced the seats (front and back) and floor mats with black ones for a bit of a two-toned look. Don't have any pics currently but could snap a few if you're interested?
