Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

To finish if off, consider changing the Carrera logo to silver, the wheels to Carrera II wheels (not a fan of turbo wheels, especially polished), and the brake calipers to red.
Leading evidence: 'Use warranty until 7/07' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'second or third one of' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace carrera logo' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I fullfilled a childhood dream and purchased my first Porsche, a 911, at the end of June. I found it at Ira Porsche (via cars.com) in Danvers, MA (North Boston). It's a 2001 and had 6900 miles when I drove it off the lot.
So here's a few pics of my new ride even though I've been a member of rennlist.com for a couple of months.

I'm glad to see other Virginians in this board. Congratulations on the car. There aren't a lot of green 996's in the area -- most of them are silver or blue. Check out

too. It's a local P-car board.
Thanks all. This is the 17th car I've owned in 17 years of driving and by far the best I've ever owned.
Carrera Mike - I live in Portsmouth but am currently 4 months in to a 6 month school for the Navy in Newport, RI. I'll be back home just before Thanksgiving.
I did go to the PCA Northeast's Porschefest 2005 at the Museum Of Transportion In Brookline, MA today. Great show! Hundreds of P-cars.

Programmatore - thanks for the link!

Excellent color combination. Green & Savannah Beige are classic. Does the interior have any contrasting trim pieces? Post a picture of the interior.
To finish if off, consider changing the Carrera logo to silver, the wheels to Carrera II wheels (not a fan of turbo wheels, especially polished), and the brake calipers to red. Some would make the side markers clear, but the amber sets good with the green, so leave them alone.
Green is one of the less than 1% colors for Porsche, truly distinctive. I plan on having my Cayman done in Forest Green with Terra-cotta leather.
You have a very good looking car, Congratulations. but beware you are going to be addicted very quickly
I haven't seen that color combination very often...I really like it. Congratulations.
One good thing about growing up is that we get to fulfill those dreams we had when we were kids.
That car really catches the eye.

Very rare color indeed. Cheap nice upgrade is to do the clear corner markers [cost like $50 and you can put them in in 5 mins]--will make it look a lot better. Congrats and welcome to the Porsche family--watch out for that slippery slope of mods you are sure to start going down from lurking around here!
Very nice and unusual color.
I just fulfilled my own childhood dream a couple of months ago with a 2000 996 cab. And tonight, I officially started down the all too well known slippery slope of mods (just ordered the SmartTOP). The next ones will probably be the clear markers, the B&M shifter, a new rear center console and perhaps a front spoiler and side skirts.
All I can say is: This is bliss!
